Reaching New Heights
The HURT Seminars are designed to help anyone who works with, or in the service of adolescents to understand who they are and how they think in today's changing culture.
It is based on the latest research on adolescent development, family and social systems, and the rapidly-changing environment that every student faces. This seminar provides churches with the training and tools they need to understand the adolescent experience and help them to more fully assimilate and integrate their students into the full life of the church family. Grounded in a solid theology of church life and community, the seminar helps men and women to grapple with their own fears regarding our changing world, and allows for them to recognize and address how these fears get passed down to the kids that God is calling each of us to serve, nurture, embrace, and love.
